We have a very good relationships with many of the tenants of the Cardiff property we manage in particular a great bunch of guys who are Cardiff students
living in a House of Multiple Occupation (HMO
) just off Whitchurch Road.
While visiting them this week two of the tenants
mentioned they have friends looking for property in the area, three separate groups looking for a 3 bedroom property, 4 bedroom property and a group looking for a 5 bedroom property ideally in located along Whitchurch Road, or one of the side streets such as “The Colonies”.
Then it dawned on me when I left this particular property on Australia Road, I looked up and down the street and saw a variety of Cardiff lettings
agent boards, in particular one property directly across the road which is being advertised by two Cardiff property agents and has been available for rent since June this year. But why haven’t they been let when I have just been told of three separate groups looking for similar?
With all the marketing channels that exist such as online property portals and social media have many of us become too reliant of these as the only source for tenants and landlord
